SeABank awarded Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Public Security for contributions to National Security Protection

June 30, 2026 - At the Conference on Reviewing the 2025 “All People Protecting National Security” Movement organized by the Ministry of Public Security, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB) was honored with a Certificate of Merit for its outstanding achievements in the 2025 movement. In addition, the Economic Security Department - Ministry of Public Security awarded individual Certificates of Merit to three SeABank leaders for their contributions to the movement.

The three SeABank executives recognized by the Economic Security Department include Mr. Le Van Tan (Chairman of the BOD); Ms. Le Thu Thuy (Vice Chairwoman of the BOD); and Mr. Vu Dinh Khoan (Deputy CEO).

Mr. Le Van Tan, Chairman of the BOD, receives the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Public Security on behalf of the Bank.

These awards and honors recognizes SeABank’s continued efforts in effectively implementing the “All People Protecting National Security” movement, as well as its proactive cooperation with relevant authorities in safeguarding economic security, ensuring the safety and security of banking operations, and contributing to social order and public safety.

Throughout its operations, SeABank has consistently prioritized building a secure and compliant banking environment while strengthening its risk management capabilities. In response to the rapid advancement of digital technologies and the increasing challenges posed by cybercrime, the Bank continues to enhance its cybersecurity, information security, and fraud prevention measures, while further strengthening cooperation with competent authorities in preventing and combating illegal activities in the financial and banking sectors.

In addition, SeABank maintains close coordination with units under the Ministry of Public Security and local police authorities in information sharing, risk warning, and ensuring the safety and security of banking operations. The Bank also actively promotes employee training and awareness programs on system security, crime prevention, and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Le Van Tan (Chairman of the BOD) said: “The Certificates of Merit awarded to SeABank and ours leaders represent meaningful recognition of SeABank's efforts in fulfilling its responsibilities as a financial institution in supporting the national security protection.
