On April 11, 2026, Round 1 of the SeAGreen Waste-for-Gift Exchange Days 2026, organized by the SeAGreen Fund, officially kicked off, launching the 2026 program with a range of new initiatives to promote greener lifestyles and encourage waste segregation at source.
Building on the success of the 2025 program, the SeAGreen Waste-for-Gift Exchange Days returned for its first event of 2026 with several exciting enhancements. Most notably, the program expanded in scale (in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City), marking an important milestone in inspiring greener living among communities across both northern and southern Vietnam.
From early morning, the event venues welcomed large numbers of participants bringing carefully sorted recyclable materials. The strong turnout demonstrated the program's growing popularity and resulted in impressive collection figures:

The 2026 edition also introduced a refreshed selection of gifts. All gifts were newly curated to be practical, distinctive, and environmentally friendly, sourced from reputable manufacturers. The highlight was ST25 rice, a meaningful and practical gift carrying the simple yet powerful message "Turn Waste into Meals." Participants also received a variety of other eco-friendly gifts that encourage waste reduction and more sustainable everyday lifestyles.
Round 2 will take place on May 8, 2026, continuing the program's mission of bringing communities together, promoting greener lifestyles, raising environmental awareness, and returning valuable resources to the circular economy.
