[SeAGreen Waste-for-Gift Exchange Days] Round 3 Results – More than 2 tonnes of recyclable materials saved from landfill

On June 12, 2026, Round 3 of the SeAGreen Waste-for-Gift Exchange Days 2026, organized by the SeAGreen Fund, collected more than 2 tonnes of recyclable materials across two locations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Round 3 collection highlights:

Paper and cardboard remained the most collected recyclable materials;
84 kg of plastic materials, continuing a steady upward trend across the campaign;
77 kg of metal cans and scrap metal, with encouraging growth compared to previous rounds.

Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of SeABank employees and local communities, more than 2 tonnes of recyclable materials were diverted from landfill and given a new life through recycling. The SeAGreen Fund extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who took the time to sort recyclable materials at home and in the workplace before bringing them to the event. Thanks to the community's collective efforts, the program achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing the total volume of recyclable materials collected throughout the entire 2025 campaign after just three of the eight scheduled rounds.

This outstanding result demonstrates that the SeAGreen Waste-for-Gift Exchange Days have evolved beyond a simple gift exchange initiative into a community platform that inspires greener habits and promotes sustainable values among people of all ages.

SeAGreen - Waste-for-Gift Exchange Days is part of the "Let's Go Green with SeABank" initiative, launched by the SeAGreen Foundation to encourage waste segregation at source, promote recycling, and raise environmental awareness. By exchanging recyclable materials for practical gifts, the program inspires greener lifestyles and encourages positive environmental action through everyday habits.
