On the occasion of the coming new year 2011, on behalf of Leaders and Staffs of Southeast Asia Joint stock commercial bank – SeABank, I would like to deliver my best wishes for you. 2010 is a remarkable year with plenty of changes with international economy that has significant impact to Vietnam in general, and financial and banking operations with the fluctuation of interest rates, Gold prices , USD exchange rates…in particular.
But beyond all, with the consensus of the shareholders, the determination of the leaders and the devotion of all SeABank staffs with the great support of customers and partners, SeABank has taken steps to develop constantly and comprehensively. SeABank has successfully implemented the retail banking model, opened the new head office, launched the new brand identity and completed the transformation of the organizational structure at all outlets followed the standard of international retail banking. SeABank has also issued many new retail products to meet customers’ needs and financial capabilities. These efforts have brought about a brilliant success, we have archived all the business objectives set out and met the expectations of our shareholders, in which profit index reached 104% in comparison with anticipation.
The sustainable development and contributions to society of SeABank were recorded by many prestigious awards, in which we are proud to be the only joint stock commercial bank to receive the commendation of the Prime Minister and concurrently is the only bank in Vietnam and Southeast Asia to be announced as “Most Admired ASEAN Enterprises 2010” (ASEAN-ABA 2010) in the category of Innovation by the Asean Business Advisory Council, ASEAN – ABAC.
