Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, stock code SSB) has been voted into the "Top 1000 World Banks 2023" ranking by The Banker magazine for the second consecutive year, securing the 771st position. This marks a remarkable ascent of 150 spots compared to its 2022 ranking. SeABank is among the few Vietnamese banks featured in this prestigious ranking, highlighting the bank's significant growth not only domestically but also on the international stage.
The "Top 1000 World Banks" ranking is established by the reputable global magazine, The Banker, which is part of The Financial Times Group founded in 1926. This ranking has been following international banking standards since 1970. Each year's analysis is based on the challenges and opportunities that the banking industry faces at the global, regional, and national levels. In 2023, the Top 1000 World Banks ranking is evaluated based on three critical criteria: total assets, pre-tax profit, and Tier 1 capital.
With its outstanding growth in recent years, SeABank is honored to be recognized for the second consecutive year in the "Top 1000 World Banks 2023" ranking, securing the 771st position, which marks a significant jump of 150 places compared to its 2022 ranking. This consistent presence in this prestigious ranking for two consecutive years reaffirms SeABank's brand reputation and underscores its international financial community recognition, elevating the bank's position both regionally and globally.
With impressive business results and positive social initiatives, SeABank is gradually asserting its brand position and strength, earning the trust of over 2.5 million individual and business customers nationwide. The bank has also received recognition from Brand Finance, a leading global brand valuation organization, being honored in the "Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam 2023," ranking 44th. This recognition reflects SeABank's position in the financial and banking industry, as well as within the Vietnamese business community.

In addition to its business activities, in 2023, SeABank has also undertaken several meaningful social welfare initiatives. These include: supporting the construction of charity houses for the impoverished in Ha Tinh, Dien Bien, and Nghe An, with a total value of 35 billion VND, carrying out annual charity activities such as "Xuân yêu thương" (Spring of Love) and "SeABankers Vi tre tho" (SeABankers for Children) nationwide, organizing the annual "SeABank Run For The Future (SeARun 2023)" charity run, aimed at fundraising to provide 10 "Ươm mầm ước mơ" (Dream Seed) scholarships for underprivileged children and planting 25,000 trees, with a total value of 1.5 billion VND.
