These philanthropic activities are part of the annual program called "Spring of Love" organized by SeABank. Through this program, numerous meaningful activities are carried out by SeABank's employees, creating tangible value for the community.
With the desire to start 2023 with profound meaning and bring the warmth of spring to those in difficult circumstances, SeABank continues its mission of helping the less fortunate, upholding the tradition of compassion that SeABank has demonstrated over the years. Each volunteer team from SeABank has brought warmth and blessings to the less fortunate during the early days of spring.
To kickstart the "Spring of Love" journey in the community, from February 19 to February 20, 2023, the SeABank Headquarters volunteer mission crossed more than 300km to the Semi-boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - Sang Ma Sao Primary School, Na Mu Su 1 village, Sang Ma Sao commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province. Noticing the inadequate and deteriorating infrastructure at the school, SeABank employees repaired the damaged roofing to protect the students from rain during their studies. Additionally, SeABank awarded 10 scholarships and nearly 100 gifts, including essential supplies, to outstanding students, and contributed to improving the school's infrastructure by providing water pumps, water filters, mosquito nets, electric fans, school bags, and other essential items. The total value of the program exceeded 500 million VND. The volunteer team, together with the school and students, planted commemorative trees on the school grounds and organized cultural exchange activities such as campfire gatherings and traditional dances, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.
Continuing the program, SeABank employees at the Lê Duẩn branch in Đà Nẵng province provided support to 30 financially challenged patients undergoing treatment at the Da Nang Cardiovascular Center, aiming to share, encourage, and alleviate some of their burdens. SeABank Hà Nam also conveyed their affection to elderly individuals living alone at the Hà Nam Social Work Center, hoping that these small gifts would bring some solace to their difficult lives. SeABank Bình Định and SeABank Phù Mỹ Branch collaborated with the People's Committee of Phù Mỹ District to provide gifts to disadvantaged households in the area, aiming to spread happiness and love to the community.
The "Spring of Love" program received enthusiastic responses from SeABankers across different provinces and cities. With the message of "Sowing the Seeds of Happiness," SeABank's representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, SeABank's branches in Ho Chi Minh City, and SeABank Sài Gòn jointly donated nearly one ton of essential goods including rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, milk, and face masks to the An Giang Province Social Protection Center. These modest gifts, filled with love from the hearts of all SeABank employees, are expected to serve as good "seeds" for nurturing happiness. With a meaningful message, SeABank Bac Ninh actively participated by delivering practical gifts to the Bac Ninh Province Social Protection Center for orphaned and disabled children. The students of Chu Văn An Secondary School in Binh Sa Commune, Thang Binh District, Quang Nam Province, were filled with radiant smiles as they received 20 meaningful gifts from SeABank Quang Nam. The students shared their gratitude, expressing how these gifts would serve as encouragement for them to cultivate good morals and contribute to the development of their homeland and country. With the belief that love will last forever when shared, SeABank in Quang Ngai province has sent gifts to individuals with difficult circumstances in Tinh An Dong and Nghia Ho communes.
Currently, the program is still in full swing with "Red Warrior" SeABankers appearing everywhere. SeABank Đại An provided 300 free meals to patients at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. SeABank Nha Trang donated essential supplies to orphaned and severely disabled children. SeABank in Long Bien district presented gifts to orphaned children at Bồ Đề Pagoda. SeABank Đồng Nai, in coordination with the People's Committee of Tam Hiệp Ward, provided gifts to disadvantaged households, and many other meaningful activities have been carried out by SeABankers during the early days of spring.
In addition to the philanthropic activities of the "Spring of Love" program, SeABank annually implements other charitable programs such as "SeABankers for Children," "Citizenship Week," "Warm Blankets for Winter," "Warm Christmas with SeABankers," and more. These programs not only bring significant benefits to vulnerable individuals nationwide but also make the SeABank brand familiar and close to customers, partners, and the Vietnamese people.
