With the desire to spread more to the message community of environmentally responsible, sustainable development, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) has implemented a series of activities for the environment "Let's Go Green with SeABank".
Especially, from 1 to 9 November 2019, every customer who comes to transact at SeABank will receive special gifts such as glass water bottles, canvas bags - friendly items that can be used for a long time and help to reduce waste released into the environment.
Throughout its development journey, in line with business goals, SeABank always focuses on the implementation of social security activities in combination with environmental protection and sustainable development such as: Organizing a series of regular running Year of Community Run for the Future - SeABank Run For The Future, social activities "Citizens Week" and charity programs "Spring of Love", "SeABankers for children", "Warm blanket in Winter", awarding gratitude houses to cadres, soldiers, poor people ...
Following these meaningful activities, in September 2019, SeABank also conducted an extremely practical activity and received positive responses from numerous employees throughout the system as well as the people in the area. is coordinating with Revival Waste - Enterprises operating in the environment to classify and treat all types of waste.
Accordingly, once every 2 weeks, SeABank collects waste at two locations: SeABank Head Office (25 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi) and SeABank Ho Chi Minh (180 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, P6, Q3, Ho Chi Minh City). Waste is classified into 4 main groups: Plastic waste, paper, packaging (milk cartons, plastic bottles ...), hazardous waste (electronics, phone batteries ...) and then transported by partners move to waste treatment and recycling plants into other products to serve life needs. In addition, SeABank also urged employees to carry out environmental protection activities at offices and families such as: Waste classification, planting trees, limiting the use of bottled water and plastic bags, limiting the use of furniture. plastic, paper saving, electricity saving, water saving ...
On the one hand, this helps minimize the amount of waste discharged into the environment, and on the other hand, spreads more awareness to the community about environmental protection. This is also the message that SeABank wants to convey to everyone: Live more responsibly to the environment from the smallest actions.
Along with the garbage collection, from November 1, 2019, SeABank also spread the message "Let's Go Green with SeABank" to customers with thousands of useful gifts including glass water bottles, canvas bags for for customers when coming to transact at the Bank. Useful items, which can be used for a long time, thereby limiting the habit of using plastic bottles and plastic bags. These types of waste are one of the main causes of the current serious environmental and ocean destruction.
The meaningful activities of SeABank will be further spread when there is the participation and contribution of many people. This action becomes extremely urgent when information on climate change, environmental pollution, water pollution ... is increasing in the mass media.
