Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB) continues to reinforce its market position by being honored for the 7th time in the Top 500 Fastest Growing Enterprises (FAST500) ranking, and the Top 50 Vietnam Best Growth in 2026. These achievements demonstrate the Bank’s stable growth momentum amid a volatile business environment, while reflecting improvements in its growth quality.
The FAST500 ranking – jointly published by Vietnam Report and VietnamNet – has entered its 16th year with a renewed evaluation approach, placing greater emphasis on factors such as capital efficiency, risk management, and corporate social responsibility, rather than focusing solely on revenue growth.
In this context, SeABank’s continued presence in the ranking over consecutive years, while also being named among the Top 50 Vietnam Best Growth, demonstrates the Bank’s adaptability, resilience, and reputation in a new development cycle.
In terms of business performance, SeABank recorded positive results in 2025, with profit before tax reaching VND6.868 trillion, up 13.73% YoY. Total assets reached VND396.443 trillion, up 21.72% and exceeding the annual target by 11%.
From a governance perspective, SeABank is among the pioneers in completing Basel II requirements ahead of schedule and proactively implementing Basel III standards, while remaining compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 9). The adoption of international best practices will continue to help the Bank strengthen its risk management capabilities, enhance system safety, and create room for long-term growth.
In addition, SeABank continues to accelerate its sustainable development strategy, focusing on green financial products such as green credit and green/blue bonds, while promoting digital transformation to enhance customer experience. Social responsibility initiatives, environmental protection activities, and efforts to promote gender equality have also been implemented in a synchronized and effective manner.
SeABank’s continued recognition in the FAST500 ranking in 2026 serves as further evidence of the Bank’s in-depth growth strategy, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring system safety, and fostering sustainable long-term development.
