SeABank donates nearly VND6.2 billion to support recovery and reconstruction after storms and floods
Guided by the vision of ‘Putting People and Communities First,’ Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB) carried out multiple urgent response initiatives to successive storms and floods in 2025, with total contributions of nearly VND 6.2 billion. In the framework of "Loving leaves" TV program organized by VTV24 news center of Vietnam Television Station and Ministry of Labour, War Invalid and Social Affair in Lao Cai province in August, Madame Nguyen Thi Nga - Chairwoman of BRG and SeABank and her employees donate scholarships for 55 underpriviledged pupils in Lao Cai poor districts in 3 years with the total value of VND 400 million.

At the ceremony, Madame Nguyen Thi Nga donates 55 scholarships with the total value of VND 400 million and presents of backpacks, notebooks,...from BRG Group and SeABank to underpriviledged pupils in poor districts of Lao Cai provinces. This donation will be sent them monthly in 3 years to support pupils to go to school. This is a good behaviour of Madame Nguyen Thi Nga and BRG and SeABank's employees in order to help poor pupils to overcome difficulties in study and life.
Apart from its annual charity programs, SeABank contributed to many charity programs of other state agencies and organizations such as: presenting 700 blankets for ethic people in Mù Căng Chải, presenting and scanning diseases for poor children in Lũng Cú, Đồng Văn, Hà Giang, presenting for soldiers in border guards…. |
