SeABank’s journey of “bringing enjoyment to people’s lives” continues to leave new marks with ‘Spring of Love 2026’ program. Nearly VND1 billion, along with hundreds of gift packages, has carried the message “Spreading warmth, reaping love” across communities nationwide, bringing a more fulfilling Lunar New Year to many families during the Year of the Horse.
Guided by its vision of being “a bank that puts people and community first,” Spring of Love has, for more than a decade, grown into a cherished tradition and a cultural value among employees of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB). Each Lunar New Year, the program has been implemented across provinces and cities nationwide, bringing a warmer and more fulfilling Tet to those in need.
Amid the lingering impacts of natural disasters and floods, broader economic challenges, and prolonged global uncertainties in 2026, SeABank continues to organize Spring of Love 2026 to provide timely support and ease ongoing difficulties, alleviate livelihood pressures, and ensure that no one is left behind.
Love delivered at the right time
While many people are busy preparing for year-end reunions, at Hanoi Heart Hospital, numerous patients—especially children with congenital heart conditions—continue to undergo long-term treatment and are unable to return home for Tet. For them, a complete spring can be as simple as not being forgotten amid their battle with illness. This is also why SeABankers at the Head Office chose this hospital as a destination for this year’s journey. Dozens of gift packages were delivered, not only helping to ease treatment costs but also carrying messages of encouragement, bringing comfort and motivation to patients and their families during the transition to the new year.

To spread the spirit of compassion and solidarity, SeABankers across business units have actively connected and collaborated with local authorities and partners to deliver meaningful support to underprivileged communities.
In response to the program, the Dak Lak Branch, in coordination with local Women’s Unions, has implemented various meaningful initiatives for residents in the area. The program included visits and support Tran Vu Mai Linh (Buon Ma Thuot ward), an orphaned child currently living with her grandparents under challenging economic conditions. In addition, 30 gift packages were presented to disadvantaged children in Tan An and Ea Kao Wards, offering timely encouragement ahead of the Lunar New Year.

Ninh Kieu Ward and Tay Do Garment Joint Stock Company were selected by the Can Tho Branch as destinations for this year’s journey. A total of 40 gift packages, accompanied by New Year wishes for peace and heartfelt care, were delivered to individuals and families facing difficult and especially challenging circumstances.

Across many other localities nationwide, SeABankers have also carried out a wide range of meaningful and practical activities in celebration of the Lunar New Year 2026. Notable initiatives include providing encouragement to 50 vulnerable individuals at Vu Thu Social Protection Center (Hung Yen); donating VND20 million in cash along with additional gifts worth VND10 million to children at Thi Nghe Center for Disabled and Orphaned Children (Ho Chi Minh City); offering support to people with disabilities in Giao Thuy Commune (Ninh Binh); visiting families of especially difficulties in Hoang Chau Commune (Thanh Hoa), Phuoc Long Ward (Dong Nai), Nha Be and Tan Nhut Communes (Ho Chi Minh City); and encouraging patients undergoing treatment at Vinh Phuc General Hospital (Phu Tho) and Bac Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital No. 2 (Bac Ninh).
Each gift carries a message and hope for a peaceful and joyful new year. The widespread implementation of these initiatives across regions highlights the strong impact of the program and reaffirms SeABank’s commitment to standing alongside the community.

Happiness takes root in the simplest things
For every SeABanker, what remains after a journey of sharing love with the community is not recognition or applause, but the small, everyday moments: a bright gaze, a firm handhold, or the innocent smile of a child… It is these tiny seeds that grow into profound happiness.
Reflecting on the trip, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung – an officer at SeABank’s Head Office – shared: “When visiting and giving gifts directly at Hanoi Heart Hospital, what impressed me most were the little children, still so young, undergoing heart treatment, yet smiling when receiving their Tet gifts. The heartfelt words from the patients’ families made me realize that sometimes just being present and showing care at the right moment carries tremendous meaning. I feel truly fortunate to have contributed even a small part to this journey.”

It is clear that “Spring of Love” has grown beyond a charitable and social welfare initiative; it has become an occasion for every SeABanker to redefine happiness and deeply appreciate the value of giving. This spirit also forms the foundation for SeABank’s unwavering commitment to a development strategy rooted in social responsibility, aiming toward sustainable growth.
Over more than 30 years of building and developing, SeABank has launched meaningful and practical community programs across the country. This journey continues year after year through quiet yet persistent efforts. SeABank’s footsteps of compassion will keep reaching out to those living in hardship, families facing difficulties, and futures still left uncertain.
