SeABank launches new savings interest rates

From April 02, 2008, interest rate applied to VND for seven-month to 13-month deposit is 10.98% per year, for one-month to six-month deposit is 10.5% per year. Especially, SeABank issues one-week, two-week and three-week term with interest rate in turns 7.2%, 8.4% and 9.6% per year to fully meet the savings demand of customers.

As to USD, interest rate for 6-month, 9-month, 12-month, and 13-month is 6% per year. Interest rate for 1-week, 2-week, 3-week is in turns 1.75%, 2%, 2.25% per year.

According to Mr. Le Van Chi, SeABank’s General Director, this adjustment is based on the unanimity of banks to guarantee the benefit of both banks and customers. In the following time, basing on fact, SeABank will have suitable adjustment to the market, but the benefit of customers is the top priority.
