SeABank sets record date for 20.5% stock dividend, raising charter capital to VND 34,688 billion
Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB) is preparing to issue over 583.8 million shares to pay stock dividend to existing shareholders at a ratio of 20.5%. At the same time, the Bank plans to issue a maximum of 40 million ESOP shares in 2026. Upon completion of both issuances, SeABank's charter capital is expected to increase from VND 28,450 billion to VND 34,688 billion. The dividend payment and charter capital increase to VND 34,688 billion are part of SeABank's strategy to strengthen financial capacity and supplement medium- and long-term funding, in the context of banks accelerating capital adequacy requirements and expanding investment in digital transformation. The plan was approved by the Bank's shareholders at the 2026 Annual General Meeting and has recently received approval from the State Bank of Vietnam and the State Securities Commission.

Being presented with IAE Reward in service quality; ranked among Top 5 banks in IT application; applying international security standard for payment card; launching SeABank Training Center under School Branch model, first time ever available in Vietnam, etc. were the most highlighted events of SeABank in 2011.
1 - SeABank opened HCM Representative Office and launched about 50 outlets nationwide

In May 2011, SeABank opened its HCMC Representative Office at AB Tower 76 Le Lai Street, District 1, HCMC; marking the network development to the South and retail banking orientation. SeABank was one of few banks having strong network development in this period, an increase of about 50 outlets, making the total number of 150 in 22 provinces and cities throughout the country.
2 - SeABank pioneered in Autobank service development

On December 6, 2011, SeABank issued Regulation on E-Banking and officially applied to all remote banking services provided to customers via all electric channels such as SMS – text message, email, phone, internet and other products such as SeANet, SeAMobile and SeACall. With this integrated system, beside traditional transactions, customers can easily perform transactions such as financial information inquiry and control, money transfer, savings account opening via friendly electronic devices.
3 - SeABank honorably achieved IAE award for its service quality

In August 2011, SeABank received International Arch of Europe Award for Quality and Excellence (IAE) for its service quality presented by Business Initiative Direction (BID), Germany. IAE Award proved SeABank’s efforts in quality and customer satisfaction improvement, prestige promotion, following retail bank orientation.
4 - SeABank was the first bank in Vietnam synchronously carried out the validation under EMV standard for international card payment and issuance

SeABank launched Visa Card in September 2011 and Master Card in December 2010 using EMV chip with the most high end security features in order to bring the best quality to customers. With this success, SeABank became the first bank in Vietnam synchronously carried out the validation under EMV standard for international card payment and issuance. SeABank’s cards are accepted by millions of ATMs and tens of millions of POSs in Vietnam and worldwide, raising the acceptance rate of SeABank’s cards to 98% in the market.
5 - SeABank pioneered to use advanced model of School Branch to meet training needs and improve service quality

In December 2011, SeABank opened Training Center in the North in the model of School Branch and became the first bank in Vietnam deployed training standards associated with practice for bank staff. Consulted by partner Société Générale, a leading retail bank in France and Europe, School Branch is a practical training environment qualified as a real transation point with 200 scenarios and modern computer system. In 2011, Training Center held more than 2,236 training hours in the fields of integration, practice, skills, professions, processes and products for more than 2,148 former employees and 660 new ones.
6 - SeABank was proud to be the sole commercial joint stock bank among 5 leading banks in IT application in banking activities in Vietnam

In 2011, Vietnam Informatics Association rated SeABank among 5 leading banks in IT application of ICT Index 2011. 100% of SeABank outlets; branches successfully implemented Core Banking T24 Temenos. We also invested in IT infrastructure in order to provide the best services to customers, including the Datacenter launched in accordance with International Standard TIE III at the Head Office along with Cisco Nexus 7000 switching system, IBM P595 server system and advanced HP XP 2400 storage system, all ensured IT support for safe and stable banking operations.
7 - SeABank was one the first banks in Vietnam to accept all types of international cards

In 2011, SeABank was one of the first banks in automatic interbank payment system in Vietnam to accept all kinds of international credit cards in Vietnam. 6 popular credit cards in the world including Visa, MasterCard, CUP, American Express, JCB and Diners Club were all accepted at the ATMs of SeABank. This was an important strategic step to bring greater convenience to customers in general and to customers using international cards in particular, while minimizing risks arising to customers in their card use.
8 - SeABank applied high end interior and exterior standards to all outlets

In 2011, all of SeABank’s outlets nationwide followed international interior – exterior standards of international retail bank model with new corporate identity system. Modern outlets meeting international interior – exterior standards provided the professional transaction space of a prominent bank, bringing about convenience for customers during the transaction.
9 - SeABank launched Autobank service, the most various one in Vietnam

Starting from January 2012, the 24/7 autobank service of SeABank are available at the two 7 days/week outlets, namely SeABank Le Thai To, Hanoi and SeABank Le Lai, HCMC. These have been the most advanced automatic banking service in Vietnam ever. Our Autobank service were integrated with high end international technologies, providing sufficient banking transactions such as depositing, withdrawal, currency exchange, information inquiry, e-banking and customer service (Call Center). SeABank’s Autobank service was equipped with the highest security technology and applied series of solutions to limit frauds, automatically detect, jam and disable skimming devices, used banking encoding and reputable security methods, creating customer’s trust in experiencing our high-tech services.
10 - SeABank accompanied enterprises

In 2011, SeABank actively took part in many social and charity activities, promoting our brand name of a proactive bank with social responsibility. Some main events included our sponsor for the television program named “As if we’ve never been apart”, support for Hanoi Association for Victims of Agent Organe, parcipation in jogging competition called “For the Children- Vietnam Gold Star 2011”, sponsor for the charity gala of International Medical Centre under Alain Carpentier Association (France), fund raising for Japanese earthquake victims through the program “Helping Japan with love”, support for children film making competition held by the Embassy of Japan and the “One Day – One Smile”, fund contribution by SeABank staff to donor disadvantaged children nation wide.
