On May 05, 2008, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank- SeABank was awarded “Global Transaction Banking Award 2007” by HSBC, one of the largest bank in the world. SeABank is honor to be one of few banks being awarded this prize by HSBC.
This is the second award recording SeABank’s excellent achievement in international payment in 2007. Before, SeABank received “High Straight- Through Rate for payment processing Award” from Wachovia Bank- one of four largest banks in USA. In addition, SeABank also signed in the contract of comprehensive cooperation in international payment with Bank of China- the largest bank in China.
In 2007, turnover from international payment reached over VND 4000 billion, increased 213% compared with year 2006, Straight through Processing rate reached over 95%. SeABank’s international payment quality is highly appreciated by customers. As expected, in 2008, fee turnover from international payment will gain VND 30 billion and total turnover of over VND 20000 billion. Moreover, SeABank has been expanding its network with aim to have 85 branches and transaction points at the end of 2008, raise chartered capital to VND 5000 billion, total asset to VND 40000 billion, total outstanding balance to VND 27000 billion, mobilized capital to VND 29500 billion, overdue loan ratio below 0.5% and expected profit is VND 852 billion.
Global Transaction Banking Award 2007 by HSBC is awarded to banks who have good quality in international payment, Straight through Processing rate reached over 90%. In 2007, HSBC awarded this prize to only few banks in Vietnam. SeABank is proud of being granted.
In late April, SeABank officially presented ATM card named S24+ to customers in the Southern area. S24+ has outstanding and user-friendly features to fully meet customers’ demands in terms of payment, transaction, withdrawal, remittance, etc. SeABank has connected to Smartlink bankcard alliance system. Customers therefore can do transaction at ATM of all banks in the system.
Before, SeABank launched Mobile Banking and Email Banking service at all transaction points nationwide. With this service, customers can consult balance, latest transactions, interest rate, exchange rate, information about SeABank’s products and service as well as transaction points. In the coming time, SeABank is going to launch Internet Banking Service, through which customers can easily access to consult balance as well as do transaction with SeABank.
