SeABank collaborates with Hanoi City Police to promote students’ awareness of digital financial safety
Hanoi, June 3, 2026 – SeABank (HOSE: SSB), in collaboration with the Economic Security Division of the Hanoi City Police, organized the seminar "Preventing cyber fraud in the banking system" at Phenikaa University. On the occasion of being awarded with the Third-Class Labor Medal by the President, on 25/10/12, South East Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank - SeABank visited and donated 200 million dong for Huong Duong Handicapped Children Charity Center in Tam Ky, Quang Nam.
Huong Duong Charity Center is a private charity center established in 2009 with the purpose of helping handicapped children to share their physical and mental pain, and educating them with vocational training and skills to orient them for future careers. The special students of this center are children with handicaps of many types: visual impairment, hearing impairment, developmental disabilities and mental retardation, etc. The operation of the center is maintained by the donations of generous philanthropists.
With the donation of 200 million dong for Huong Duong Charity Center, SeABank wished to support the charity center to have more operating costs to raise the children, thereby encourage them to strive to be better in life as well as in study.
As known in recent years, SeABank has carried out many practical activities to help children with difficulties such as give donations to the babies at Bo De Temple - Hanoi, support the children with cancer at K hospital - Tam Diep - Hanoi, sponsor "Swing for the Kids 2012" Golf program in order to raise money for the Scholarship Fund, visit and present gifts to the Charity centers who raise orphaned and handicapped children in Hanoi, Hai Duong, Da Nang, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Vung Tau. Most recent, SeABank has donated 300 pairs of buoys for children in Thanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai and donated 50 million dong for the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) in Vietnam.
These activities not only enhance the spirit of unity and solidarity, but also express that SeABank is a dynamic, friendly and socially responsible bank.
