SeABank becomes one of the first banks accepting cash withdrawal with all international cards available in Vietnam.
To better meet customer’s demand, the Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank - SeABank officially run the cash withdrawal service for 3 international card brands including American Express, JCB and Diners Club since February 09, 2012 on its ATM system. These 3 famous international card brands are the popular payment tools in the market, especially convenient for cardholders in their travelling abroad and luxury entertainment activities. American Express Bank is one of 4 leading global banks with over 65 million cards issued. JCB is the biggest credit card company in Japan with more than 59 million cards issued. And Diners Club is an American card issuer with Diners Club card belonging to the Top Global High Class Card Group.
SeABank, with this service, becomes one of the first banks in Vietnam accepting cash withdrawal of all International card brands available in Vietnam, including Visa, MasterCard, CUP, American Express, JCB, and Diners Club. Additionally, SeABank ATM system is compatible to most of domestic cards issued by local banks and is the first bank synchronously applying EMV standard verification for Visa and Master Card issuance and payment (in ATM and POS). This is SeABank’s strategic step to bring more utilities to customers in general and Amercan Express, JCB and Diners Club cardholders in particular, as well as to minimize the card using risks for customers.
Recently, SeABank has also launched Autobank service at SeABank Le Thai To, Hanoi and SeABank Le Lai, HCMC, allowing customers deploying transactions such as depositing, withdrawal, currency exchange from USD to VND, multifunctional inquiry, internet banking and customer support by 24/7 Callcenter service. With such critical movements, SeABank is on the way to step-by-step realize its goal towards a prominent retail bank in Vietnam.
