SeABank and BRG has become the co-organizers of 7h Annual Charity Golf Tournament

(Hanoi, March 26, 2013) – Vietnam Investment Review has announced the 7th annual charity golf tournament Swing for the Kids 2013 and giving fully funded scholarships to students.

Started in 2007, Swing for the Kids has become the prestigious charity sport event which links golfers, pupils, students and corporate community in Vietnam.

The tournament is organized by Vietnam Investment Review in cooperation with Foreign Investment Agency under the patronization of Ministry of Planning and Investment and Vietnam Studying Promotion Association to support good students in poor circumstances nationwide.

“Swing for the kids 2013” charity tournament will take place in King’s Island golf course (Dong Mo, Hanoi) in April 21, 2013. Former Deputy Prime Minister cum the Chairman of Vietnam Studying Promotion Association Vo Hong Phuc and Minister of Planing and Investment Bui Quang Vinh is the honorary chairmen of the tournament.

The 2013 tournament is expected to have the participation of 144 golfers including politicians, representatives from foreign organizations and other local and foreign golfers. Tee-off starts at 12AM at King’s Island golf course in Dong Mo, Hanoi. Rewarding ceremony will take place at 6PM of the same day at Club House of King’s Island golf course with a gala dinner, music show, lucky draw, and auction.

Mr.Dang Bao Khanh General Director of SeABank, the co-organizer of this tournament, revokes that he totally believes in the value and transparency of this tournament. He also expresses BRG and SeABank hope through this activity, more and more resonating power will be created to further support the Vietnamese youth.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Editor-in-chief of Vietnam Investment Review and the Chairman of the championship demonstrate his high appreciation to the kindness of all the sponsors who have been accompanying the event for 6 years, especially their continuous commitment to the activities with constant or even higher level of donating despite the economic difficulties. Thanks for that, the tournament’s fund have handled over 6,000 scholarships valuing at VND5.5 billion to students in nearly 40 provinces and cities all over Vietnam and become a bridge to connect the kindhearted donors to poor students in Vietnam  including remote areas and island as well.

The humanitarian meaning has urged all the tournament’s participants to maintain and improve the implementation of The Charity golf tournament – Swing for the kids.
