SeABank has officially issued 40 million ESOP shares to employees holding management positions in recognition of their significant contributions to the Bank's overall development. The issuance marks the next step in SeABank's plan to increase its charter capital to VND 34.688 trillion, as approved by the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) and the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV).
Under the approved plan, SeABank issues up to 40 million ESOP shares at a price of no less than VND 10,000 per share to management employees who meet the Bank's eligibility criteria, including outstanding performance, professional capabilities, and length of service.
Prior to this issuance, SeABank successfully completed a 20.5% stock dividend distribution, increasing its charter capital to VND 34.288 trillion. The ESOP issuance will further add VND 400 billion to the Bank's charter capital, increasing the charter capital to VND 34.688 trillion as planned.
The additional capital will strengthen SeABank's financial capacity, enhance its capital adequacy ratios, support continued investment in technology infrastructure, accelerate digital transformation, and expand its business operations to support the Bank's next phase of growth.
The ESOP program is one of SeABank's employee incentive policies, designed to recognize and reward individuals who have made significant contributions to the Bank's development, while encouraging long-term commitment, foster innovation, and align employees with SeABank's vision of creating sustainable value. This marks the fifth time SeABank has implemented an ESOP program for its employees, reinforcing employee engagement, driving higher performance, and strengthening alignment between the Bank and its workforce.
The ESOP issuance, together with the Bank's charter capital increase plan, further demonstrates SeABank's long-term commitment to sustainable growth. By strengthening both its financial foundation and high-quality human resources, the Bank is enhancing its competitiveness and advancing its strategy.
