SeAMobile, the digital banking platform of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, stock code: SSB), has been honored with a 5-star rating in the ‘Digital Utilities’ category at the 2025 Sao Khue Awards – the prestigious awards organized by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA). This recognized SeABank’s efforts in technological investments and applications, delivering unique digital banking experiences to customers.

Pioneering in applying technology to improve products and enhance user experience, since 2020, SeABank has developed SeAMobile - the only platform of its kind to feature an integrated virtual personal financial assistant. This innovative tool allows users to gain a comprehensive overview of their financial health, receive alerts, etc.
SeAMobile is built on an advanced, modern technological platform, offering over 130 features that enable customers to perform convenient banking transactions directly on their smartphones. Notable features include remote account opening via eKYC, online issuance of debit and credit cards, online saving account opening/closing, registration of lucky number account, online loan application, etc. In addition, SeAMobile offers a range of interactive features to enhance customer engagement and experience, such as a loyalty points system, exciting mini-games, and customizable or event-themed interfaces, etc.
Notably, SeAMobile helps users track and analyze their expenditures using the international “6-jar” money management system, customized to individual needs. The app also provides automatic spending reminders and intelligent suggestions for saving or investing to maximize financial returns from income.
Thanks to its speed, convenience, user-friendly interface, practical features, and ability to enhance customers’ digital banking experience, SeAMobile was honored at the 2025 Sao Khue Awards with a prestigious 5-star rating in the ‘Digital Utilities’ category.
As of now, SeAMobile has achieved impressive results in both scale and quality, remarkably: cumulative users reached nearly 2.8 million – up 700% from 2020; number of ebank transactions surpassed 50 million per year – 7 times higher than its launch; total transaction value reached nearly VND500 trillion, a 5.6-fold growth over the past five years.
Previously, SeABank’s digital banking application for businesses (SeAMobile Biz) was honored at the 2024 Sao Khue Awards in the “Digital Banking” category. The award recognized the app’s innovation, outstanding features, and modern utilities, providing convenient solutions for corporate customers to efficiently address financial needs while optimizing both time and cost.
The 2025 Sao Khue Award further affirms SeABank’s strategic focus on its “Digital Convergence” strategy – centered on the digitalization of products and services, technological application in operations, and investment in modern IT infrastructure to enhance efficiency. The Sao Khue Awards is one of the most prestigious and long-standing honors in the IT sector. Organized annually by VINASA, the award aims to recognize and promote outstanding digital platforms, services, and excellent technological solutions. The 2025 award marked a new milestone in scale, attracting over 500 nominations from leading companies across the country. After 3 rigorous evaluation rounds (preliminary screening, presentations, and final selection), a judging committee led by Dr. Nguyen Quan (former Minister of Science and Technology), together with 40 respected experts, has selected 198 winners to be honored.
