Recommendation for Customers of upgrading the operating system and computer browsers

At present, Microsoft has released new operating system versions such as Windows 7, 8, 10 or IE 11, Microsoft Edge with more features, utilities and higher security for customers to replace the older versions which are no longer supported such as Windows XP, IE versions 8, 9, 10. It means that if you continue using the operating systems and the browsers no longer supported by Microsoft, you might have to face up to the risk that your computer can be infected with viruses, spywares, or malicious softwares that can lead to computer problems such as: interrupted applications, data or user's personal information is stolen.

Therefore, to ensure the safety of your computer use as well as for online banking transactions, from August 1, 2018 SeABank will stop supporting online banking service (SeANet) at www.seanet.vn when you use:

- Computer operating system Windows XP with all types and all versions of browsers 

- Computer operating system Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 with  Internet Explorer (IE) version lower than IE 8; Mozilla Firefox browser version lower than 27-33 ESR 31.0 - 31.2; Google Chrome browser version lower than 22.

In order not to be inconvenienced and interrupted during using, SeABank recommends that you should  pay attention to the following things:

- If you are using Windows XP operating system, you should immediately upgrade to the newer operating system.

- Upgrading your current browser to the latest version of your browser.

- Regularly updating anti-virus softwares, security programs suitable for each browser and operating system.

- When you use Internet Explorer version 8, 9, 10 on Windows 7 and above, you need to activate the Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.1 and 1.2 to help to protect your data information on your computer when visiting the website (Click here to refer to the activation guide of TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 on IE browser).

- Please read carefully and follow the instructions about safe transactions online posted on the official website of SeABank.
