A cooperation agreement has been signed between Southeast Asia Joint Stock Commercial Bank (SeABank) and Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services Company (VMS - MobiFone) – domestic strategic partner of SeABank with the aim of optimizing strengths, enhancing business efficiency as well as increasing benefits for the staff and customers of the both parties.
This cooperation agreement is a kick-off for close and firm cooperation activities towards mutual development of the two parties. MobiFone, with many years of experience in mobile telecom services shall provide advice/support to SeABank, its staff and customers in selecting mobile services and products being offered by MobiFone. SeABank, who has obtained years of experience in financial and banking sector, shall furnish MobiFone, its staff and clients with advice/support in choosing financial and banking services, products of SeABank.
One of specific activities marking the commencement of this agreement is the provision of special privileges by SeABank for Members of "Long-term connection" program being launched by MobiFone such as:
- Preferential loan interest rate which is 1.2% p.a. less than the rate offered to individual borrowers with consumer, study, car purchase, home purchase and home renovation purposes.
- Offer of VND 990,000 in cash to “Long-term connection” members upon SeABank VISA Platinum card opening (equivalent to 100% of annual fee).
- 100% discount on annual fee of other Visa, MasterCard international cards for the first year;
- 100% discount on the first year’s annual fee and issuing fee for domestic cards S24+, S24++
- Free of charge for the Internet Banking Service Package for the first year.
Only by presenting membership cards and identification papers at any outlet of SeABank nationwide, Diamond, Gold and Titanium membership cardholders can apply for the service and enjoy the privileges from SeABank.
Mr. Dang Bao Khanh – SeABank General Director says that: “MobiFone became a domestic strategic partner of SeABank in 2007 and the both parties have performed numerous cooperation activities producing high efficiency. Recently, SeABank has been the largest corporate customer with more than 2,000 staff using M-Business service package of MobiFone. Besides, MobiFone has opened its account and frequently used corporate banking services at SeABank’s branches.
The cooperation agreement between MobiFone and SeABank is based on mutual benefits with the goal of long-term relationship generating benefits for the both sides and their customers as well as supporting each other in seeking for business opportunities and doing business in the most efficient manner. Such agreement shall pave the way for jointly vigorous and efficient activities in the future in every field, of which we pay a great attention to the privileges and benefits for customers of the both sides”.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – BIOMETRIC DATA UPDATE
Pursuant to Circular No. 17/2024/TT-NHNN and Circular No. 18/2024/TT-NHNN issued by the State Bank of Vietnam regulating banking card operations and transactions, customers will not be able to perform transactions if they have not completed BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION or if their identification documents have expired.
