SeABank received the award of Ministry of Planning and Investment

The award of “The best enterprise of CSR and community development" of Ministry of Planning and Investment is judged on SeABank's contribution to the State Budget, the conformity of laws and responsibility of spiritual and material life of employees, increasing the  benefits of shareholders, consumers, partners, environment protection and charity programs to serve the community…

In 22 years of building and development, SeABank always focus on business development along with CSR. SeABank is also the pioneer in social activities in 64 cities and provinces across the country. 

In the period of 2011-2015, SeABank launched many charity programs and social activities, contributing to socio-economic development of many provinces across the country with the total budget of VND 20 billion. The bank also support and join many sea and island sovereignty of the country such as: sponsoring the program of “Love for country's boundary, sea and islands", donating for the program of "For the sea, islands of the country", donating for the fisheries inspection unit  Reigon No. 2 - Unit No. 3 and the Coast Guard Region No. 2; Presenting gifts ffor Truong Sa citizens and soldiers, donating for the program of "Love for Con Dao"…

Besides, SeABank often launches annual charity programs such as: “Citizen Commitment Week” (from 2010), “Loving Spring” (from 2014), orgazing charity fund named “One day, One smile” with many activities such as: presenting gifts for orphans, elders, patients, sponsoring for poor pupils, cleaning the streets, cemetary...

Especially, from 2015, SeABank officially establishes scholarship fund named “Nursing dream” on basis of welfare fund of the bank and contribution of other donators to present scholarships for poor gifted pupils across the country. 

With the fund of "Nursing dream", SeABank continues to confirm the bank's role of partnership and supporting pupils to develop talent and intelligence. At the present, the fund is sponsoring 5 poor pupils at Phan Chu Trinh ward, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi with value of VND 01 million/month/person until they finish 12th grade and continues to expand this activity in the coming years.

With these meaningful activities, SeABank is recognized by community as well as management agencies and organization with many honorably awards such as: "Enterprise for ASEAN community" by Ministry of Planning and Investment, Golden Cup of "For the development of the community 2008" by Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Soceity, "Cultural Enterprise with many contributions to the society" by VCCI…

Recently, SeABank has been awarded "Best CSR Bank Vietnam 2016" by Global Banking & Finance Review (GBAF - United Kingdom). In 2016, to remark the landmark of 22 years of establishment, SeABank will seamlessly try to contribute to banking sector and socio - economic development of the country.
