SeABank is proud to be awarded Bank of the Year 2021 by The Banker

SeABank was also named the "Best Digital Transformation Enterprise in Vietnam 2021" by Finance Derrivate Magazine for its excellent adoption of digital banking apps as well as the digitalization of everyday operations (USA). 

The Banker (London, UK) is a world-renowned financial magazine that has been published for 95 years and is often regarded as the magazine with the most readers in the banking business. In the realm of awards, The Banker's "Bank of the Year" is an annual award given to an excellent bank in a country on a global scale.

In 2021, in face of the developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a flexible business strategy, and the promotion of the digitization of products and services as well as the digitization of business processes, the application of artificial intelligence has helped SeABank has outstanding development achievements, adapts to the changes of the times, maintains good business performance with the completion of 105% of the 2021 profit plan after only 9 months, at the same time the Bank is also active supporting communities affected by the pandemic with an amount of nearly VND 90 billion.

These positive results have made SeABank the only bank in Vietnam to be voted by The Banker as "Bank of the Year 2021". The award recognizes SeABank's efforts to develop and grow comprehensively in terms of business results, investments in the application of advanced technology, and good performance in social welfare and stability. Previously, in 2013 SeABank was also honored by The Banker as "Bank of the Year 2021".

Besides, with the results achieved from the digital convergence strategy, SeABank was once again recognized as "Best Digital Transformation Business Vietnam 2021", awarded by the Magazine Finance Derrivate (USA). Previously, the Bank was also recognized with two titles for the best digital transformation in 2021: "Best Digital Bank in Vietnam 2021" (World Business Outlook - Singapore,) and “Excellence in Digital Transformation in Vietnam 2021” (International Business Magazine - UAE).
