Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, SeABank has donated VND2 billion to support the Northern localities affected by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi). This is in line with one of the Bank's core values - "Community-oriented", the national tradition of solidarity, and national spirit.
Typhoon Yagi hit Northern regions of Vietnam on September 6-7th, 2024 with strong wind gusts and prolonged circulation, causing a lot of damage to properties and infrastructures in the affected provinces/cities: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, etc. In this context, the whole country are concerned about and are focusing on supporting people of the affected areas, creating the strength of unity to overcome the damage of natural disasters.
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, SeABank has donated VND3 billion, contributing to the joint efforts of Banking sector and the entire country in suppoting the compatriots who are struggling in typhoon-affected areas.
In addition, SeABank employees and SeABank's internal fund "One Day One Smile" voluntarily donated an additional VND1 billion to support employees, their families, and other people affected by storms and floods, motivating them to overcome natural disasters. This is a culture of love and sharing in line with the Bank's core value "Community-oriented", at the same time promoting the national spirit.
