Recently, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB) received two awards acknowledging its growth in scale and corporate culture. Being honored among the Top 50 Outstanding Enterprises in Vietnam hosted by Vietnam Report and Vietnamnet, along with Cultural and Reputable Enterprise 2025 award presented by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), reaffirms the effectiveness of SeABank’s sustainable development strategy. This strategy focuses on building a people-centric corporate culture, fostering long-term human resource development, and spreading community-oriented values. These efforts have contributed significantly to the Bank’s operational efficiency and sustainable business growth.
Building corporate culture and brand reputation: Efforts acknowledged
SeABank has been named among the Top 50 Outstanding Enterprises in Vietnam for the 3rd consecutive year, while maintaining its position in the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam (VNR500) for 16 consecutive years. The rankings were announced by Vietnam Report in collaboration with Vietnamnet on January 8, 2026.
The rankings are developed based on an independent and scientific assessment, drawing on key criteria such as revenue, business performance, financial capacity, and sustainable development prospects. Maintaining its position for many consecutive years reflects the Bank’s stable governance capabilities, strong adaptability, and long-term development strategy amid a volatile economic context.

In parallel, at the Cultural and Reputable Enterprise 2025 ceremony organized under the direction of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), SeABank was honored as one of the exemplary enterprises meeting comprehensive criteria on operational efficiency, legal compliance, business ethics, and social responsibility.
The award aims to honor enterprises that not only achieve strong business performance but also prioritize building a people-centric, values-driven, and sustainable corporate culture. Being honored as Cultural and Reputable Enterprise 2025 demonstrates SeABank’s consistent efforts to harmoniously integrate business growth with brand reputation, anchored in human-centric and value-driven principles.
Putting people and the community first
With the vision of “Putting People and Community First”, SeABank regards social responsibility not as a short-term, parallel activity, but as an integral component of its sustainable development strategy. In 2025, SeABank allocated more than VND33 billion to social initiatives, implemented in a focused and diversified manner to address the practical needs of the community.
These resources were allocated across multiple areas, including education, healthcare, support for vulnerable groups, environmental protection, and other. The sustainable initiatives were implemented through various programs and 4 internal funds: SeADreams Scholarship Fund, SeALove Protection Fund, SeAGreen Environmental Protection Fund, and SeASmile Charity Fund. Beyond providing short-term assistance, these activities aim to create sustainable livelihoods, improve living standards, and promote enduring humanistic values.
Through a focused approach with measurable social impacts, SeABank is actualizing its commitment to community support, reaffirming its role as a people-centered bank that contributes meaningfully to the overall development of society and the economy.
To this day, SeABank’s persistent journey has generated meaningful, humanistic values widely across the community. Nearly VND250 billion has been contributed, more than one million trees have been planted, over 1,800 homes have been built or renovated, nearly 220 underprivileged children have been sponsored to continue education, tens of thousands of gift packages have been delivered to disadvantaged circumstances.
In 2025, SeABank continues to place people at the core of its sustainable development strategy, recognizing human capital and corporate culture as key drivers of long-term growth. The Bank prioritizes the development of a high-quality workforce within a respectful, inclusive, and equitable working environment, supported by transparent human resource policies, competitive compensation and benefits, and standardized career pathways developed in consultation with international partner Mercer – Talentnet.

At the same time, SeABank has intensified its training, capability and leadership development programs, ensuring close alignment between individual goals and the Bank’s overall strategic direction. Notably, 100% of competency groups, employee segments, job grades, and new hires participated in training programs, demonstrating SeABank’s strong commitment to the comprehensive and sustainable human resource development.
At SeABank, corporate culture is cultivated with cohesive, positive, and humanistic values, aiming towards the goal of becoming the leading bank in corporate culture within Vietnam’s financial – banking sector. The Bank places strong emphasis on employee well-being, enhancing staff happiness and satisfaction to inspire dedication and breakthrough performance at work. A wide range of annual internal engagement programs such as SeATalk, Teambuilding, Year-End Party, SeALeague, etc. are regularly organized to foster connection and strengthen solidarity among employees.

In addition, internal cultural events celebrating special occasions such as International Women’s Day (March 8), Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20), Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20), together with a series of activities celebrating the Bank’s 31st anniversary, featuring creative programs such as “Decoding the Muse”, "Golden words to Her", "Male Gods Around Us", etc. have further enriched employees’ spiritual well-being and fostered a cohesive SeABanker community filled with positive energy.
Employee appreciation initiatives, such as the SeATet gifts for employees’ parents, engagement activities for employees’ children (SeAKids, drawing and letter-writing contests, etc.), as well as honor and reward programs like SeAProud, further affirm the Bank’s comprehensive care for its people.
According to the 2025 internal survey results, 90.37% of employees expressed satisfaction with working at SeABank, while 90.5% indicated their intention to remain with the Bank for at least the next two years. These figures clearly reflect the effectiveness of SeABank’s people-centric and corporate culture development strategy.
Receiving dual honors as Cultural and Reputable Enterprise 2025 and in Top 50 Outstanding Enterprises in Vietnam over consecutive years serves as clear testament to the development pathway SeABank is pursuing: sustainable growth built on transparent governance, strong corporate culture aligned with social responsibility.
In the upcoming period, SeABank will continue to strengthen these core pillars, striving to become a bank that not only delivers strong business performance but also creates long-term positive values for the community and society.
