SeABank wins “Top Trade Services 2007” prize.

On January 6, 2008, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank- SeABank had the honour of winning “Top Trade Service 2007” prize organized by Ministry of Industry and Commerce. SeABank is one of sponsors for this prize.

According to SeABank representative, 2007 year marked SeABank’s success in all operating field. Up to December 31, 2007, SeABank achieve total funds mobilization of VND 20249 billion, total loans of more than VND 11041 billion. At present, SeABank owns approximately 50 transaction offices all over the country. SeABank has strategy of focusing on preferred industry such as coal export, aquatic products, agricultural products, shipbuilding and maritime transport, power, fuel and other basic industrial field. SeABank is honourably one of few enterprises operating in financial banking field who win this prize. This proves acknowledgement of Society, State and business community of SeABank’s ceaseless development and encourages the staff to strive for the target and sustainable development.

As expected, in 2008, SeABank will open 35 transaction places, raising SeABank’s transaction places to 85 in key areas over the country, aiming to become a versatile and modern bank in Vietnamese financial market. Besides, SeABank plans to raise chartered capital to VND 5000 billion, total asset to VND 40 000 billion, total outstanding balance to VND 27000 billion, mobilized capital to VND 29500 billion, overdue loan ratio below 0.5%.

“Top Trade Services 2007”prize was organized by Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and received high appreciation of purpose, meaning and content. Especially in the context of Vietnam being official member of WTO for the first year with both opportunities and threatening, this prize gives so much encouragement to enterprises. “Top Trade Services 2007”prize has attracted the attention of so many corporations and there were 108 enterprises operating in 11 trade service fields being voted by customers, enterprises and associations.
