On signing a partnership agreement with MoneyGram International, Inc. to provide a fast, safe, and transparent online remittance solution, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB) has launched the program “Receive remittances via MoneyGram – Instantly get a VND30,000 eVoucher on SeAMobile” from October 15 to December 31, 2025. The program offers customers a convenient and rewarding experience when receiving remittances during the year-end peak season.
According to the World Bank, Vietnam ranks among the world’s Top 10 remittance-receiving countries, with total inflows estimated at over US$16–18 billion in 2024, accounting for approximately 4% of national GDP. Remittances not only serve as an important source of foreign currency for economic growth, but also help improve the living standards of millions of households.
With the aim of providing customers with a fast, convenient, and secure experience when receiving money from relatives overseas, SeABank and MoneyGram have jointly introduced an online remittance solution on SeAMobile app. This solution enables money to be transferred directly into customers’ accounts 24/7, without the need to visit a bank branch.
A solution that helps overseas Vietnamese send love back home
The program “Receive remittances via MoneyGram – Instantly get a VND30,000 eVoucher on SeAMobile” is launched during the year-end period, when remittance inflows surge as many overseas Vietnamese send money home for spending, education, investment, and Lunar New Year preparations. Accordingly, customers who receive remittances via MoneyGram on SeAMobile app or at any SeABank branch will get a VND30,000 eVoucher for each transaction, with no limit on the number of rewards. The eVouchers will be credited directly to customers’ SeANet/SeAMobile accounts after each successful transaction.
