SeABank honored as ‘Vietnam Strong Brand’ for 17th time

In 2025, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB) was honored for the 17th time at the Vietnam Strong Brand Awards, winning in the Sustainable Development 2025 category. The recognition reinforces SeABank’s reputation as a responsible bank and affirms the effectiveness of its sustainability strategy centered on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

‘Vietnam Strong Brand Awards’ is the largest annual event organized by Vietnam Economic Times (VnEconomy). First launched in 2003 with over 20 ceremonies, the Vietnam Strong Brand Awards have recognized SeABank for 17 consecutive years across various categories, recognizing the effectiveness of its flexible and sustainable business strategy, which helped the Bank achieve strong growth and create tangible value for the community.

The Vietnam Strong Brand Awards 2025, themed “Enterprises Reaching New Heights”, honors Vietnamese businesses taking the lead in innovation, green transition, digital transformation, and international integration, as well as those with outstanding achievements in sustainable development and positive contributions to local communities. Outperforming hundreds of excellent businesses and meeting the award’s rigorous criteria, SeABank continued to be honored at the Vietnam Strong Brand Awards 2025, winning in the Sustainable Development category.

Over the years, SeABank has focused on comprehensive sustainable development, effectively implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. As a result, the Bank has continuously grown stronger, affirming its position as a responsible bank and receiving numerous prestigious awards, including: National Brand (Ministry of Industry and Trade); Vietnam ESG Awards (Dan Tri Newspaper); Top 10 Companies with Best Corporate Governance - Mid-cap and Top 10 Outstanding Annual Reports - Financial Sector (VLCA); Sustainable Business (VCCI); “Gender Equality in the Marketplace” at the UN WEPs Awards 2024 (UN Women); and most recently, a double win for Green Credit Bank and Sustainable Development Bank at VOBA 2025.
